KAR has three editors who specialize in different areas in the field of accounting.

The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Minsup Song is a Professor of Accounting at Sogang University. He received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Before joining Sogang University, he worked for University of Idaho, U.S.A. He is a renowned researcher in the financial accounting area. The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Dooheol Moon, is a Professor of Accounting at Yonsei University. He received his Ph.D. from the City University of New York. Before joining Yonsei University, he served at the State University of New York at Old Westbury. He has published in various academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting. The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Woo-Jong Lee is a professor of Accounting at Seoul National University. Before retuning to his alma mater, he was a tenured associate professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He published his articles works in various academic journals, including the Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Management Science, and Review of Accounting Studies.
