KAR has three editors who specialize in different areas in the field of accounting.

The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Jong-Hag Choi is a Professor of Accounting at Seoul National University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining Seoul National University, he worked for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a renowned researcher in the auditing/financial accounting area. He published his works in various top academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons, and the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy. The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Minsup Song is a Professor of Accounting at Sogang University. He received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Before joining Sogang University, he worked for University of Idaho, U.S.A. He is a renowned researcher in the financial accounting area. He published his works in various top academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Management Science, the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Banking and Finance, etc. More detail information is available here.

The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Jongseo Choi is a Professor of Accounting at Pusan University. He received his Ph.D. from Pusan University. Dr. Choi published his works in various top academic journals, including ABACUS-A Journal of Accouting Finance and Business Studies, Korean Accounting Review, Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance, etc. He also worked for Japanese Accounting Review, Social and Environmental Accountability, and Accounting Forum, and other international journals as an editor.
